This is my 3rd Arylic S10 device, after testing the previous 2 devices, I was super satisfied as system integrator, they have been working for over a year now and my clients are super happy.

Arylic decided to invest in, and create an interesting streamer that’s about as affordable as Pi alternatives are, but which is much easier to program, use and which has a solid design, with Arylic excellent support behind.The S10 is a bit finicky and doesn’t really like to switch between sources without some sort of minor headache. One point it may be worth making for those who also own a Roku device, is that the Roku remote triggers the Arylic when certain buttons are pushed. The remote really needs to be straight on for the remote to be responsive, and the EQ on the remote was useless. When I perform a fatory reset, it seems the S10 doesn’t reset really so deeply, because I’m not able to reset the device name and the wi fi configuration.

This is an irritation, but the quick fix is to use apps to control both devices (except for switching off the Arylic). The Arylic A50+ amplifier is a true gem for budget-conscious audiophiles seeking a high-quality audio experience. But once done its done, and can remain on the network, plugged into the Aux input to your HiFi amplifier, ready to receive audio streams, of single files or playlists. I just have to remember to turn down the audio level after listening through the unit because If I didn't, switching back to the CD, the level would be much louder. The Tidal section of the application does not have all the functions that Android Tidal has, but it is quite enough to manage the streamer's work. One feature I would like to see if possible would be to play a source from one device separately on another without involving the device that the source was connected to. Although the Sonos units and the S10 are selectable within iTunes, there is a delay to the output of the S10, so multiroom is not really practical with Sonos units.In his spare time, he likes to fish, paint, play guitar, pray, rap, make beats, take photos, record videos, graphic design, and more. While not considered an audiophile piece, the purpose of the Arylic S10 is more basic to serve as a multi-room wireless streaming box without stealing the money inside your wallet to achieve this goal. I'm still not sure if it will be a music box with speakers inside (ala Devialeth Phantom), or an integrated amplifier with DAC and streamer (ala Unity Atom, Bluesound) or something else. Can't see my DS Music playlists on my synology NAS and can't access the "My mix" selections from Tidal.
