About this deal

Fresh, dry and zesty with some raspberry and recurrant, this is an easy-drinking floral fizz that goes well with food but is also suitably special for a celebration. The winery also uses renewable energy wherever possible, so if you’re conscious about the environment, this delicious bubbly is a great shout.

What: Dry and crisp, Canti Prosecco is always a safe bet when faced with a choice of unknown labels. However, food products are constantly being improved so their ingredients and the other information we publish here, including details of their nutritional content and allergy advice, is liable to change. Pink Prosecco must still be produced from a majority of white Glera grapes, but it will also include 10-15% of the red Pinot Nero (aka Pinot Noir) variety of grapes to achieve its colour, which will be a “pink more or less intense, shining, and with a persistent foam. There’s a subtle sweetness, without it becoming sugary and there isn’t too much fizz either to overpower the palate. Lip-smackingly sweet and juicy on the palate, it forgoes dryness ('Extra Dry' is, strangely, the sweetest style of Prosecco) for a fruity, accessible and enjoyable style.

It may not be reproduced in any way whatsoever without Wm Morrisons Supermarkets Limited prior consent, nor without due acknowledgement. The production area for this wine is within the Prosecco DOC area, 80-100 meters above sea level with alluvial and clay soils. The Pinot Noir has one day of maceration and a subsequent soft pressing and the Glera has a soft pressing, both followed by fermentation in temperature controlled tanks. There are many different varieties, shapes, colours and flavours; you can find them in autumn and winter, but certain types peep out from the ground even in the summer.

They are fresh, colourful, refreshing, low in calories and rich in vitamins: what better option is there on “the market”! The possible combinations and variations are almost infinite, and even if the “rule” states that milk or ice shouldn’t be added, we can’t exclude that option, or even that of including frozen or dried fruits and yoghurt. What: Prosecco connoisseurs (including us) rave about this Tesco Prosecco, not only because it tastes incredible, but because it’s just a tenner a bottle! We won’t go on, as we know you’re eager to get to our list of the best Prosecco brands to try right now, but we did just want to share a few facts about Prosecco that we learned during our testing. They use their thumb and forefinger in a precise and very decisive movement that only artisans are able to master: in this way the real mozzarella di bufala campana was first created by rolling the cheese through the hands.Light, fluffy and fragrant, pizza is one of the best known Italian dishes, with fans all over the world. Production is still restricted to the provinces of Caserta and Salerno – the territory in which water buffalos were first brought into Italy by the Normans – but today mozzarella di bufala is consumed worldwide. The quality of the grapes, which come from the slopes of Valdobbiadene, translate into superior flavours, including peach, pear and white blossom, which go particularly well with canapès and summer salads.

Made with grapes sourced from the best area in Italy, Conegliano Valdobbiadene, Morrisons The Best Valdobbiadene delivers intense flavours of fresh green apple and pear and overtones of apple blossom. Made on an Italian family estate there has been particular attention paid to creating a drink with a really modern style. Light, fresh and dangerously moreish, it’s great as an aperitivo, as an accompaniment to food or sipped from a chilled flute at any time of the day or night. What: A consistent high-performer with Laithwaites, Alessio Rossetto's easy-drinking Prosecco is full on sparkle and flavour, with creamy ripe peach, stone fruit and a hint of pear. Vinification Details: The production area for this wine is within the Prosecco DOC area, 80-100 meters above sea level with alluvial and clay soils. That’s not to say you can’t toast with it on Christmas morning, though – this Prosecco is definitely an all-season fizz. What: The market for organic Prosecco is getting stronger all the time, but it’s still not too easy to find a decent one at most supermarkets. You might ask what qualifies us to decide what constitutes the ‘best Prosecco’, and the simple answer is that we drink it all the time. This is a lovely fun Prosecco that covers all bases and occasions, and the full Spumante bubble makes it great for special occasions.
