About this deal

For people who paint plastic models, this is the best nipper to use because when they cut along the edge, it leaves no remains of the gate. It leaves with a clean cut section. This shortens the time spent on filing the gate. For those who paint plastic models, the cutting surface remains smooth and clean even if the blade is cut along the part without leaving a gate, thus shortening the time for gate processing with files or knives. Please do not twist the blade during cutting or releasing from the runner. Twisting may cause it to break under load. Delivery times are estimates and can vary depending on delivery method selected, time of the year, weather and other factors.

The sharpness of the cutting edge achieves a smooth cut surface as if sharpened with a design knife and minimizes plastic whitening (a phenomenon in which the cut section turns white). The cutting blade is created by the craftsmen of "Tsubamesanjo" in Niigata prefecture, famous for cutting tools What makes the God Hand so maneuverable? Well other than their dangerous sharpness, they also have the shortest and slimmest blades of any of my side-cutters. GODHAND Nippers are high-quality carbon steel nippers made especially for cutting plastics and resins. It is a fantastic tool that is simple to use and trusted by both experienced and novice modelers. They are specialty nippers renowned for their sharpness that are perfect for precise cutting, so you can obtain a smooth surface with a minimum of scraping, sanding, and polishing.

What Customers Say About Us

They make a good cut and are nice and sharp. Another set which has one flat edge and one cutting edge. However had issues with them, the flat edge was offset meaning my cutting edge was never able to cut flush. This is only useful when the connection to a sprue is against a flat edge of a model component, but most of my models have this connection on a rounded edge. whilst the cut itself was smooth it often left a nub of sprue on the model surface which I needed to clean off with a hobby knife.

Searching Reddit’s r/gunpla/ community the other day, I saw a post titled “ What’s the single best nipper after God Hand?” To this poster, the fact that the God Hand Ultimate Nipper is undeniably number one on the nipper ranking isn’t up for debate.

The cutting board edge supports an object firmly while the gripping force changes to move the cutting edge smoothly. DSPIAE have now released the 3.0 version of these, but I have seen little difference between them and the 2.0, so if you can get the 2.0 still, grab them. they are just as good.

Usually, when I cut pieces out of the sprue, I leave a small nub that I can then cut off with an X-Acto knife. But the God Hand is so sharp and narrow that it can get right up against the part, allowing me to skip the knife step. With the God Hand, my process is this: Ultra-thin “cutting edge” is created one by one by a well experienced craftsmanship in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata prefecture, Japan. All things considered, I must admit that you can hardly live with only one set of nippers. Many modelers have several. What I would suggest is to get at least a couple. Which ones is up to you. But if you ask me, go with something very nice, like Number 2 or Number 1 and combine it with one or two of the cheapest options. Number 5 is way up there just because some people could not get it that easily. Other than that it is in TOP 3. Please remember:The ultimate nipper consists of the cutting blade and the single edged structure which creates super clean cutting surface. From the second I got my hands on these I actually (for the first time ever) enjoyed cutting models from the sprue. They reduce (not remove) the amount of post clean up you need to do before painting. 1. DSPIAE ST-A Single Blade Nipper You can see the similarities between this and the Godhand, in fact, even on close inspection, other than one being red and the other being blue, there is very little difference. Even the curves in the metal are pretty much identical with only some minor flourishes like the retaining screw and spring extension protector being in a slightly different place. Another set featuring a flat-edge and a bladed-edge but these have the benefit of the bladed-edge being super-fine. Like the options below this limits the stress on the plastic you are cutting For finely detailed parts, this can mean make-or-break.

The standard force for cutting 3 mm dia. plastic is 2 kg or less. (General nippers are 3.5 kg to 10 kg)We're not just making that up - Pete, James and Foxx have sworn by them for years and we are ridiculously excited to be able to bring them to you now. They truly are tools that are at home whether they are in the hands of a beginner or a professional. These are not mass-produced throwaway tools; they are tools designed by and for master craftsmen that will enable you to create incredible art.Ultimate Ultra-Thin Single-Edge! Ultimate Sharpness! There are two main types of cutter on this list Flat Edge and Dual Cut. On flat-edge cutters, one side of the cutters is flat. instead of cutting the plastic this edge acts as a stop allowing the other side to cut from only 1 direction. dia-cut is where both sides have a cutting edge and cut the plastic to meet in the middle. In my experience, wither of these really offer a better cut as both leave a bit of residue on the model. However, the flat-edge cutters do seem to last longer as you aren’t having 2 blades cut into each other. Being the nerd that I am I took them both to my wife and had her use the Tamiya snips first, no problem, they worked as expected. Then I handed her the God Hands and had her do another cut; her response was "wow!". She then proceeded to cut the rest of the sprue into bits just because it is amazing how easy it is to do. Literally like as close to zero resistance as you can possibly get in a world subject to the laws of physics.
