About this deal

Anyone with even a small amount of ADD might find this to be a struggle. I found it to be too much to handle and avoid this game like the plague now.

Want to focus on conservation? Saving the planet? Farming? Going green? Going vegan? Stopping animals from going extinct? How about a focus on breeding every possible genome? Or perhaps you just want to keep the local transport system fully funded? There's so many different directions your zoo can take, and Let's Build a Zoo gives you the tools to pursue your specific goals.

About The Game

It's time to build a zoo! Let out your wild side, and create your own animal empire with this cute, expansive management sim. Import and breed rare creatures, hire the right staff, keep your visitors happy, and deal with plenty of weird and wonderful events. Then try your hand at DNA Splicing, and stitch together over 300,000 different types of animal, ranging from the majestic Giraffephant to the peaceful PandOwl! Its very in depth game that may work for some people, but to me, it felt like a job that I should be getting paid to manage this much stuff that is hard to see. At certain points the pacing also just feels off. Its a weird combination of too much waiting and micromanaging a mess in between a lot of waiting and hoping your waiting pays off and results in profit. Control everything that happens in your park, from what your animals eat to what eats your animals... Feel like running a zoo, populated with all manner of disturbing hybrids? Ever wonder if a rabbit would still be as cute if it had a snake’s head? The audio in-game is extremely joyful. Tightly knitted together with all of the sound FX from the Zoo you have just created, it really creates an environment you can just relax and game in. Obviously to relax you need to make sure you keep to your schedule! Longevity

Let's Build A Zoo truly lets you go wild, with hundreds of animals to breed and import, tons of buildings, foliage, decorations and path types to spruce up your monkey business, and plenty of staff options for keeping your animals happy, and your guests entertained. If you think we're serving you a bait and switch, think again! I won't be so koi about the huge amount of stuff to do in Aquarium Odyssey, including 100+ new shops, decorations, facilities, enclosures and more. Honestly, any fin is possible.Don’t let the cutesy pixel art style fool you; managing a zoo is more than just a walk in the park. Let's Build A Zoo wastes no time to allow the player to establish a living hell or a haven for both your visitors and animals.

There's no release date for Let's Build a Zoo's paid Aquarium Odyssey expansion just yet, but it's said to be coming to PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC "later this year".At first we were trying to get established and then it became about being efficient. Some ten hours in, we wanted the PSC Zoo to be symmetrical. But then we wanted the enclosures to be bigger and grouped by type (you’ve got grass, concrete, desert, tropical, ice and so on for different types of animal) and so the entire layout started to change. We invested heavily in transport, upping our visitor numbers but also our CO2 usage. So then it was about researching bigger and better buses. And so on. The game lets you edit, move and redraw enclosures easily, so toying around with your layout becomes a constant thing. Your adventures on this unexplored Dinosaur Island will be full of brand new quests, moral choices and news articles. Build a successful Zoo in this lush, fresh setting, and make meaningful choices to shape it! Using a script or add-on that scans GameFAQs for box and screen images (such as an emulator front-end), while overloading our search engine

If so, then Let’s Build a Zoo delivers. The bad news is, it’s going to make you wait which, given that animal splicing is a significant selling point, is a bit of a misstep. You can’t make that rhino/goose hybrid until you’ve uncovered every single animal variant, typically ten or so for each animal. If your animal splicing experiments are starting to feel a bit stale, there's some good news; park management sim Let's Build a Zoo is getting some aquarium-themed DLC later this year, opening up the potential for even more adorable/terrifying creature hybrids in your life.Visually, the game uses a 16-bit visual style and while we’re usually not huge fans of this, it’s the best way to convey all the visual info you need. We still maintain that the original Civilization is the best one because the 2D pixel visuals make everything clearer and that’s the case here. There’s an absolute torrent of visual information to deal with and so doing this in isometric 3D or full 3D wouldn’t have worked. And yeah, the music is a little annoying but this is more of a ‘put on a podcast’ kind of game anyway. Let's Build a Zoo, if you've not yet had the pleasure, melds familiar zoo tycoon gameplay - in which the aim is to build and manage an appealing (and hopefully lucrative) park, importing and breeding animals, managing staff, and so on - with a couple of unique twists. I would not call myself a seasoned Zoo keeper, although with the number of sims around these days I could probably collect that accolade. However, Let’s Build A Zoo stands out among the many out there due to its pixelated art style. Keep reading to find out how I get on. Gameplay It's time to Build a Zoo," reads the press release. "Construct and decorate enclosures, buy and breed animals, hire zookeepers and vets... then try your hand at DNA splicing, and stitch together over 500,000 different types of animal. This can only go smoothly..."
