Have a mechanical pencil whose lead won’t come out? There is a good chance that your pencil is jammed! This can be annoying, but it’s usually easy to fix. You won’t find such features when comparing other mechanical pencils, like the Rotring 800 vs. Pentel Graphgear 1000. Product Features 1. Double Spring MechanismLead cushioning: Some mechanical pencils use a lead cushion or guard that reinforces the lead against rougher writing styles.
